The new CS:GO team here at Last Rites made it absolutely clear in their welcome interview a short while ago that they were driven and ready to take the CS:GO scene in Poland by storm. Team captain Zapp clearly laid down that the boys were getting their team co-ordination down to a fine art ready to take on some tournaments in the winter.

Well, they weren’t kidding. We at Last Rites are proud to share with you the team’s tournament line up for the winter; we’ve got some goals to hit, tournaments to win and practice to get in so let’s make this quick.

First up is the 5 on 5 Katowice LAN event tournament currently being hosted on The team will need to win two games before being invited to the LAN event offline. First against Team Never Quit on the 10th of September which is sure to be a great matchup. You can view the full brackets for the tournament here:

Next up is the 5 on 5 European ESL Winter Open League. This will be the team’s first hopeful step into the ESL and they will be playing for the first place prizes of 500 euros worth of gear and a spot in the ESL Major League. The tournament starts Tuesday the 3rd of October so be sure to stop by and watch Last Rites make their mark in their first big league!

Third on the squad’s hit list is CEVO CS:GO Season 13 (NA/EU). This is a cash prize open competition with teams coming from North America and Europe to fight it out. Teams will be playing one match a week and be fighting to move up the ranks to earn a spot in the season 14 intermediate division.

Finally the team hope to be entering two competitions that have not yet confirmed details of their tournaments. First of these is the Nvska Arena Gier LAN event who have announced on their Facebook page that a new series will be coming soon, a great place for the boys to flex their CS muscles on a LAN connection.

Lastly, as the squad hail from Poland, they will of course be showing their home scene what they can do. Polska Liga Esportowa 2 is where Last Rites will throw down with the best of the best in Poland. In our interview with Zapp he alluded to a few rival teams that hopefully they will get a chance to lock horns with here. In any case its sure to be an exciting league so watch this space!
